Cuckoo / Cuco

Railway Station, Tavira, 70x70cm, oil on canvas

The tiles are outside the railway station, Tavira, and the girl is just passing through. She is reading a copy of Bradshaw - the old British railway timetable. The 'cuckoo' element is because she doesn't actually belong here, but the local birds - a cormorant and a beeeater - are feeding her.
