Sushma, French artist and art therapist, has established a studio nestled in the hills of Santa Catarina, where she paints and experiments with ceramics, collage and printmaking. She draws inspiration from the vibrant colors and textures of the surrounding nature and from a rich tapestry of traveling memories

Sushma’s artistic evolution began at Ecole Boulle in Paris, deepened in India where she explored painting and sculpting through meditation, and in Tunisia where collaborations with master artists enriched her skills in different media. Tai Chi is a profound influence, guiding her to trust and align with life’s rhythm.

Her global journey includes exhibiting internationally and extending the healing power of her art to diverse communities, from Alzheimer’s patients in France to Syrian refugees in Iraq. Now her work is showcased in Galeria das Borboletas in Tavira, Portugal.
